Well don't forget there are about 12 weeks of live shows, so that's 3 months worth in itself, then there are Judges House episodes, Boot Camp episodes, Audition episodes! It will be drawn out for long enough. :D

i know a group and a person who i think are in it.
ones a choir from a school in the wirral, im not sure if they got through or not. i'll ask my mum, since it's her best mates' daughter. not sure though cos they've had a difficult time in that school cos one of the girls in their school died and they were all pretty affected. they're really good too.
and another is a lad from southport, not sure if he's in it though.
he got through to like 3rd round i think, havent spoken to him in ages though.

Will Young was hardly a 1 hit wonder... he is producing a new album and has had an absolutely terrific career in acting? should I say more.

Leona Lewis is the 1st solo-female artist from the UK to get to number 1 in the USA Billboard Top 100. And has been in the top 10 for longer then 25 weeks now? and is still in there.

She has also had massive hits other then Bleeding love around the world, she will probaly dominate the charts soon in alot of places.

Shayne Ward had a sold out arena tour recently and most of his singles got in top10/top5. So hardly a 1 hit wonder? and his last album 'Breathless' reached to number 2.

Gareth Gates didn't win pop idol/x factor or whatever so you can call him a one hit wonder.

Yes, there has been some one-hit-wonders out of X Factor however there has been some big people.

Leon Jackson will also probaly be rather big to when he releases his album, he is currently writting his songs.

lol.......... the only real talent to come out of the x factor was leona.
this year's will be the same as usual - full of **** tards they mistake for talent (eg chico) and then all the good ones get kicked out.

they'll be some girl who's underaged and another who has a major sob story.
that said i'll still watch it, but more than likely i won't be amazed at the winner.

Sob stories piss me off. I know 2 really good singers who didn't get through the first stage (there's 4 before the actual judges, your interviews and auditioned 3 times in total) and they are just as good as anyone else that has a sob story. (e.g. The young girl from Bridgend).

I think its so blatently obvious the judges are given questions to ask the people with sob stories before hand.. I remember last year I think it was some woman was saying she had a horrible job and she wanted to have a better life for her kids etc etc she gets infront of the judges and what is the question simon 'decided' to ask 'what do you do for a living?' it happens everytime its so obvious.

part 1: Bad contestants then itll say something like, 'but can the next contestant turn things around'.... blah blah blah. and it seems thats brightened up the judges mood and the yes' are flying in.'

Good decision tonight, my personal bottom two were Scott and Bad Lashes - Scott got through on the sympathy vote which I was annoyed at... There were also worse acts than Girl Band but hey...

As for the second performances, Bad Lashes were much better, but considering Wonderwall wasn't a number one they couldn't perform and were kicked out because of the crap singing in the first song.

Good decision, still think it's going to be a Alexandra v Laura final :)

One of Cheryl's acts to win, please! :) I simply loved Alexandra's performance... what a fantastic song, and fantastic choreography. Laura's vocal style has something really interesting... very Duffy-esque (and I love Duffy). Diana, oh Diana! I would love to hear her sing Son of a Preacher Man at some point.

A side note on Rachel: she makes me really uneasy... like something is crawling under my skin. The judges may like her voice, but every note she sings sounds virtually the same to me; like she has picked up someone's vocal register and is sticking to it. Tonight was a bit of a shocker.

I was really shocked when Ruth was in the bottom two, I thought her performance was quite good compared to Daniel, Scott etc.

She was outstanding when she sang Purple Rain, and if she sang like that each week she'd easily get to the finals, but I was even more shocked when Simon took it to a deadlock.

diana was good this week. I still dont understand some of the words she sings but was much better this week.
