A buggy problem

Usualy I just click on restore my active desktop but this time an error somes up. how can I get rid of this? When I clock ok the notice comes up but my background dosent come back

have you tried the following:

-Changing your background
-Installed Java
-Removing any programs you think causes this
-Start-Run-type msconfig-Startup-then prevent it on startup selection?
