If I were to sell to someone would they be able to charge back the money given?
If so, how can I avoid it?

Only if you have scammed them and they have proof... i think...

If you are selling via an eBay auction and you have proof of postage you have nothing to worry about.

Its illegal to sell.
Though chargeback are very popular in that era
I member selling my habbo T's. I got scammed on atleast 15 of them.
Untill i started doing, "Verified Or Home Address Confirmed Members Only!"
And also checked if the paypal account did actually belong to them
[send an email to the pp email] and ask for them to prove
But yeh you can chargeback
