Star of the upcoming Underage Festival is coming to Habbo Hotel to answer your questions and discuss the festival.
Polly Scattergood, one of the leading artists performing at the Underage Festival, will be making her second visit to Habbo Hotel on August 14th. As you can see in her lovely photo (right) she has already visited Habbo Hotel once, and she had a wonderful time chatting to you all!
Polly Scattergood Exclusive Competition
Habbo and Polly have teamed up to offer you a fantastic competition where the best underage video made during the Underage Festival (in London not on Habbo) will have a backing soundtrack created and added by Polly Scattergood!
There is also 250 Habbo Credits and an extra special UAF Stage Badge up for grabs for the winner. Three runners up will bag 100 Habbo Credits.
Your Chance to Win
For your chance to win one of these fantastic prizes, all you need to do is create a short film at the Underage Festival whilst ensuring you follow the brief below.
1) Must only include footage of the real life Underage Festival. That's right! You need to actually be there to enter this competition.
2) Maximum length of 3 minutes, including 2 empty seconds before and after the video. (E.g. actual film length is 2mins 56secs)
3) Should feature the Habbo DJ tent and Pollyworld.
4) Must not identify Habbos. (E.g. Don't display Habbo names)
5) No swearing, violence, nudity etc.
6) MPEG4 format is recommended.
7) Video needs to be uploaded to Youtube. (You can check limitations for Youtube on their site)
8) 640x480 pixel dimension is ideal, however the size must not exceed that of Youtube (or 4:3 aspect ratio!)
Other than that, it's completely up to you. Be creative, be unique and most importantly have fun! Oh.. and don't lose your camera!
How To Enter
The competition is now open but since you cannot actually record anything until the day of the Underage Festival (Friday August 8th), we suggest you use these few extra days to plan which bands, stages and tents you want to feature in your video.
The closing date for the competition is Wednesday 13th August at 12noon. You therefore will need to edit your video and upload it to Youtube as soon as possible after the festival on August 8th. Send the Youtube URL that contains your video to: [email protected] ensuring you use the Subject Line: UAF Video.
PLEASE remember to include your Habbo name in the body of the email.
