About a 5 - I mean, its a white box on an orange background and thats about it!

Its not anything special, nothing about it makes me say "Ooh, That is really nice. I'll consider purchasing a layout!"

I mean, where the corners are rounded at the bottom there is still straight lines!

To be honest with you, its really not a good design.. it looks like a 10minute paint-job,
Actually, now that i think of it, can I ask, what program did you use to make that layout ?

It's old-style, I mean this is how sites -used- to look, try checking out some website-awards websites or something to see more newer, modern sites

Its not BAD but its not good either...

Sorry, just giving my honest opinion

So what you saying change the corners and background colour?
Surely simple is best you go onto it you think i want a basic layout thats fine... I have had 7 people order layouts and 1 order a web application... since the site opened 2 days ago... so there cant be that much wrong with it?

Please rate this one to, http://www.techdesigns.co.uk/ (not mine just first one in google) looks just the same as mine just different buttons and background

As I said just now it's just so boring. It doesn't stand out. It's a white box with a few lines.

I see no way how you can improve that layout honestly, thats what designers these days should learn to be honest, you can't make a good design in one attempt, you dont have to be afraid of starting over.. it takes like 5 or 6 attempts to get something which is okay enough to continue on..

And the question is WHO ordered layouts... anyone can order a layout, and its usually the people who know nothing about websites let alone computers who would buy things from a site looking like that... I'm not trying to be offencive, just trying to inform something..

Also, if I may ask, how much will you get per design ?
(You don't have to awnser if you don't feel like)

But anyway, I'd work on your site first, then..

But good luck
- Oli

EDIT:
@http://www.techdesigns.co.uk/
This still isn't a good design, but its better..
And please do not compare yours to this, because it is not 'basicly the same', like i said, yours looks like a 10minute job and this one looks like theres went a litle more thought into the design..

Yes well the design is terrible and will soon start to steer people away.
Let us see some previous work?

Change the orange background to another colour. (Light blue perhaps?) then I dont think it would look too bad. Orange is too harsh a colour. :)

If you are going for the simplicity approach then you need to go for a colour that's easy on the eyes, and as far as colors in this world go, Im afraid orange isnt one of them ;)

Change the background colour, maybe spruce a few bits up, and I dont think its that terrible at all :)

Sorry but that is VERY basic. I would reccomend starting again. Look at some nice graphic/web design, and see what they look like compared to yours. Even though you say it's a small company, surely you want to make it big, earn lots of money & stuff... I would give it a 2/10
