Do you think habbox would ever consider unbanning people.

I mean I have appealed twice. With a big appologie etc
but still they say

"You have broken a habboxforum rule therefore we cannot unban your account this time"

and just wondering would Habbox ever unban?
Mind you its been a year n half or so since i was banned lol.

So yerh :)
Btw this aint a complaint just a general question, So dont move to complaint forum.. Please ;)

msb. is correct. Bans are there to enforce rules, if bans are revoked then people will be encouraged to break the rules.

And besides if it was so long ago then I dont think you should fret too much over it ;)

I think it depends on what you done exactly. I know someone was taken off the auto ban list this week so yes we do unban people. It's a lot easier to do ban appeals via the support system now for both you and us. Of course rules are there for a reason and if you break them you have to be prepared to face the punishment, "do the crime, pay the time" or however that saying goes.

It would depend on what the offence was also. Best thing you can do is submit a ban appeal via the support system and see what happens. :)

I'm all for giving people a second chance, third one definitely NO!! Eighteen months is a very long time, and I would like to think that if you have a good record on the account you are currently using, that you have proved you've learnt a lesson, and hope that management would seriously give you a second chance :) but like I said 3rd one NO!

Good luck :)

I see what you mean but seriously doesn't it matter on what the person did?

E.g. If on habbo, someone was a hacker, I would never forgive them.

Yeah that's quite an important factor! I wouldn't trust a thief either, or anyone who deliberately set out to harm. But there are some members who join the forum at quite a young age, they try to impress or look 'cool' lol, when in fact they end up looking pretty stupid. How many times do we see it? They start growing up and realise the error of their ways ;) Now I'm not saying this applies to the to creator of this thread, as I don't know why the creator of this thread was banned, don't want to know, or need to know. But second chances for some. Management at the end of the day decide, not us :)

They should get unbanned after 1 year or 6 months and given a second chance. If they get banned again, they don't get unbanned.

Most people will just make another account and start using that, which is pointless if they have an old account and are willing to abide by the rules.

What does "this time" mean? It makes no sense...

I don't believe bans solve anything, they'll just make new accounts. The appropriate behaviour is to talk to them about their issues. Get them on your side. Not ban them as if they serve no purpose, and it does suggest the people behind the bans are anti-social and, selfish in some way. Doing this means, you get some ounce of respect and you don't have to keep banning them over and over again when and if they make new accounts. Afterall, once you've banned someone, what have they got to lose? Nothing. You've lost your account and that it :/

It isn't like people are banned without any warning, unless that is you're on the autoban list and you have to breach numerous rules to an extreme point to be placed on there. That's like saying there sould be no prison. If people weren't banned then you'd moan about that, no doubt. It serves a purpose to keep members who are constantly breaking rules they agree to abide by when they sign up off the forum for the benefit of other users.
