Recently, on my town high street several medium names and independent shops have closed for big big name shops to come in.
For instance :
Last Month - Costa Coffee replaced a Independent Greengrocers which had been in our town for several years.
Today - Costcutters (A Medium Chain) closed for big name M&S Simply Food (A Big Name/Chain) to open a shop which will open in seven weeks time.
Is this happening where you live - is your town turning into a clone high street ?

Not really.
Things just come/go occasionally.
Woolworths left in like january, damn!
Now boots is where that was, but their old building was just across the road.
Primark is supposed to be coming where old boots was :D!
Most of it stays the same, we already have multiple subways, starbucks etc really close to each other
Well we have 2 coffee shops... Costa and Starbucks I think, and loads of other national stores.. Waitrose, M&S, Iceland, Woolworths, Game, Boots, about 5 phone shops.. so ye.
