They use cable systems so it wouldn't.

Some TVs require you to set up the digital service separately from the analogue, does standard TV work?

Since you are saying it works on your old box, try like finding something such as a digital setup menu - our tv has a specific button for this, not sure if yours will.

Sounds like the digital tuner on tv is broke. If you are picking it up on another box but not the tv.
