I doubt it can live up to the actual legacy of the Star Wars films, looks more like a kiddies day out than a actual SW film. I'm sure it'll be terrible but I'll probably see it online or something

I am a big Star Wars fan but I will not be seeing this. The animation makes the characters look absolutely rediculous, and only a few returned to do voice work.

I will be giving this a miss, but am greatly looking forward to the live action series that is coming soon.

I am also hyped up for the recent announcement that the Star Wars films would be re-released in 3D and Blu-ray, I'll be picking those up with a doubt. I think I'll watch it online or just wait for the DVD, as long as it adds story to the series, then I'm not actually bothered about it.

Lucas said he won't be releasing Star Wars on Blu-Ray until 2015, because not many homes have blu-ray yet. He wants to release it when blu-ray has become the standard so he can maximize profits.

Or so I heard.

I'll go and see this movie, but i'm not expecting much.

Its the start/backstory of the 100 (upto 500) episode series of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which isn't to do with the origional cartoon from 2004 which was also on CN.

@Misawa: The Live action isn't going to feature many Jedi though, but still better than a Obi Wan who sounds nothing like Ewan McGregor. Plus I am a bigger fan of Star Wars, my avatar is an edited version of an Anakin Solo from the Legacy of the Force books avatar.

Yes, but any live action Star Wars series is going to be good, providing it isn't rushed. I couldn't give a damn about any animated versions.

"If George Lucas wrote a Star Wars film, handed the script to some hobo on the beach and then give him £100 to fund, direct and find voice actors for it, this would be it... OH WAIT.. THIS IS IT!"

Sounds terrible, I'll wait for the DVD, not wasting my money for the boo-ray

You can't blame Lucas on the direction or the screenplay, he didn't do either.

Might go see something else now if its on TV, I've got a V+ that tapes anything and then I'l burn to DVD and that saves me a few quid.

Yeah ino Missy, I mean in HIS films, the original trilogy are some of the best films ever made. But in the prequls (which I'm sure I've spelt wrong lol) , it's just recycled dialouge and teenage angst.

Of course ROTS was great, best of the trilogy and although it didn't satisfy alot people, sure did it for me.

It just seems as though he doesn't have any diamonds to swallow and crap out, so he just gave the crap for someone else to poop out, and Clone Wars is what came out.

Well, I went and seen it and apart from nicknames, Obi Wan just not being Obi Wan, Obi Wan having tea with one of the CIS leaders (I mean fgs) and Anakin being OTT snappy at the beginning, I enjoyed it. Shame it doesn't feature Grevious, Windu or any other Jedi cept' Ashoka, Obi Wan & Anakin for more than a minute. Now to look forwars to the Lego sets that will come from it...

I saw an advert for it in america and my god it looks bad. There was something about a young girl becoming a jedi with skywalker as her master and then she ended up caring for a baby jabba i mean.. come on.
