Joining the army.

Well, I've been applying to go to the army college, I just took my blood test for the medical, and was soon to go for the physical test.

Well, the blood test results have come back and they've found drug positive in my system, thing is I stopped taking weed about 2 months before the blood test, and now they've reported me to the army about it.. I'm screwed :(

Bloodtests for drugs only look for drugs which you have taken recently eg. past week or whatever.

Only urine test would be able to detect that you've taken weed, but THC is meant to leave your body in around 1 month so whether you have smoked weed in that 2 month period, or you're completely lying.

Theres a possibilty it can stay in your system for 2 months but you would need a urine test to see.

Yeah, weed stays for atleast a month. I've stayed clean for the last few months just so I can't lose my place. I was gonna go to Wellbeck last year, but my Sargeant phoned me too late and all the places had gone. ******. Gotta do my normal A levels then do my officers application.

I heard long ago that when you stop taking drugs then you need to be 6 months clean - if you take heavy drugs or take heavy doses of drugs it can be up to a year before your system is clean.

There is of course a chance of becoming paranoid or suffering from other mental conditions. And then of course they want society to get them better so they could get high. I think if you looked at where most regular weed smokers end up it would be either on the dole or in a menial nothing job.

There is a good reason why they don't want druggies in the army. You just shouldn't have taken it should you.

Your really starting to annoy me now ... In the army they dont do blood tests no more. They do test by checking your Urine (if thts how you spell it)

And if you smoke weed it gets out ur systems within 28 - 31 days so just say a month, so your lying.

On the army - to anyone joining the army, make sure your mentally prepared for what you may have to see and do. I no to many people whov been completely screwd up by it and quite a few whov had to claim there suicidal to get out of it which is like the most embarresing thing for an army boy to do!
Iv grown up right by an army base and no loads of kids whov been moved around with ther dads and hated it. I no loads who hav no relationships with ther fathers because they see them so little and becaus alot of ther dads hav been messing round with women on other bases.
tbh, i can only think of one person i no who is happy with army life and thats cos hes a complete male hore and has a girlfriend in pretty much every base in britain and he hasnt been sent abroad yet. Hes a para anywho!
