He can upgrade the ram, HDD and GFX with ease. I wouldn't mind having 16GB ram :P

If I buy 16GB, I'd of never known that right now, I definitely don't need 16GB. Though I'll probably get it in a month or so. HDD, upgrade? Not yet.. no reason to. Graphics card, I don't see the point in the 8800GT/3870 with what I'm doing.

Then I fail to see why you need a Mac Pro other than to show off when an iMac would have sufficed.
