windows clock +rep and 2hc

it's just not working i set it to the right time and it just stays at 01:55 on 08 january 2008.
i set it right and then it just goes back it says on 1/2am and 8th/1/08.

any help?

EDIT: when i do "scyrnogize with an internet server" i use all of them and they ALL have errors even tried habboxforum.com whats wrong with my pc?

It's possible that the battery is dead.Good thinking, open up your case and on the mobo you'll find a coin-like battery which is usually silver, that makes sure the time and date are always running, take that into a shop which sells batteries and it should be easy and cheap to replace, usually happens to older computers but I imagine its this.

If the battery is dead then i think it will only reset the time when the computer is turned off. By the sounds of things it's reseting after you change it?
