Now i would like to code a program so that the little "Throttle leaver" can control a channel on my computers mixer.

Theres a program called GlovePie, I use it for making wiimote scripts on the pc (remote controlling pc by the wiimote or using it on an emulator). The program can also use xbox controller, joysticks, mouse ect ect. If the mixer on your computer can be controlled by a keyboard then the program can be used to do it.
