This has probably done before but I thought it may as well be done (and maybe get stickied :P). Post any useful programs you have come across in the past (and what they do and such, not just links and names).

Unlocker Assistant

Ever get an error like this when you want to delete a file or folder?

Or another flavour of error similar to this:

Cannot delete file: Access is denied
There has been a sharing violation.
The source or destination file may be in use.
The file is in use by another program or user.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

Unlocker is the solution!

1. Simply right click the folder or file and select Unlocker

2. If the folder or file is locked, a window listing of lockers will appear

3. Simply click Unlock All and you are done!

Why Unlocker Assistant is the best program for the job:

Always On Top Maker

This one does exactly what it says on the tin, a small program (2,342kb of system memory) that runs in the background and allows you to keep any window on top of all others just by pressing Ctrl + Alt + T

TweakUI

An official windows tweaking tool, TweakUI is one of those little nifty applications that allows you to customise your computer interface with a variety of options.

Note: As far as I know this only works with Windows XP and you must pass WGA to download it (well, you're supposed to anyway ;))

Please don't link directly to the installer though, just to be safe.

Your Uninstaller Pro 2008, shows you EVERYTHING that can be uninstalls, runs the uninstaller, then checks the registry and folder for anything it left behind.
