It's a fantastic game and it's worth £10 for about 3/4 months of playing until FM09 comes out.

FM Live coming soon, as well as FM09.
Wouldn't recommend FM Live, £72 per year is the price they're offering it to to their beta testers (my mate was one).

Get FIFA 2008 instead of Football Manager.. It's better to play, and coach, than just coaching ;)
