I have a Dell inspiration E520 with a Pentium D processor 2.79GHz with 3GB of RAM But lately its been weird, whenever I'm using Firefox downloading you tube videos the processors go mad and both shoot up to 100% while they buffer. It never used to do this and I dont know why it started :S does anyone know why this might be happening?

Also iv been thinking about getting a new computer... well at least a new tower do you think I would be better off getting a new tower completely or just upgrading the processor in my current PC? I want a PC with a processor that wont be outdated in 6 months because I only brought this computer last year.

I'd say check your heatsink for dust, that's why mine was running so hot a while back.

Thats IF I decide just to get a new tower... the fact theres no screen isnt a mistake, I already have a 19" Dell monitor which does me just fine :D

CPU, good
RAM, crap
no monitor
GFX, nothing special
HDD, nothing special

The thing is, all CPUs, GFX Cards will be outdated within a month of buying it.

You could also say

The thing is, all technology will be outdated within a month of buying it. :P

Not true though, something like a PSP is not outdated within a month as there is no new version released for at least a year.

Needs more RAM, but not bad for the price.

I've got a good out fashion Pentium 4 with a Geforce 6200 256MB graphics card and 1GB of ram and I can still play all the latest games just not with very good graphics but it's lasted me ages.
