Hey,
I was pretty amazed when I saw this to be honest. I didn't believe it at first but this keyboard is really amazing. It might just sound like a keyboard but it is amazing.

basically the keyboard is fully customizable and each key has an LED I believe which allows you to change the keys to WHATEVER key you want or special keys with logos for applications. Also it can be set up so that the keys change to work with specific applications like for example tools on Photoshop as keys etc I think. Also it has a ton of other random features that I'm sure would be great. :P
Absolutely the best keyboard I have ever seen but the hefty price tag of close to £900ish I doubt I'll be buying one soon! :P
Also their concept for a future keyboard:

One which you can modify all the shapes of the buttons and everything - totally customisable and works on touch screen technology.
Anyway I was pretty amazed when I saw this so I thought I'd share it with you guys - more of a novelty than anything but if I ever get rich then I know that there will always be some cool gadget to buy.
Cya!

I remember both have been on the Gadget show, they look quite good but the keyboard costs an arm and a leg.

I know the price is a real bummer. I'd definitely buy one if the price was more reasonable but £900ish is a total rip off even though it is pretty cool.

Yeah its a really nice keyboard, I like the fact you can edit the buttons and have like images display inside the keys!
Its alot of cash for a keyboard though!
That concept looks bloomin' awesome though, if the Maximus is ~£900 then that will be loaaaads!

That keyboard is old news now. Apparently, it sucks to type on, which is the primary function of a keyboard. Still, it is a pretty impressive piece of technology.

Yeah I agree it is a real shame it is so expensive. :(

Ah right. :P I'd not heard of it before now anyway. If you can't type on it very well that is a major problem -especially with that price tag.

griffin powermate better ;)

anyway, i saw the second one ages ago.
the first one if actually quite ugly so i would never pay that much for it.
I'm sure the version I saw of that a while ago was much thinner.. unless it was a manufacturing flaw..
anyway, as much as I'd love it, I wouldn't pay 900 notes for it, when I've got my thin aluminum Apple keyboard which I paid about 30 quid for! (it's great, works on my PC without fault! - although I can't find the print screen button)

I don't get what you'll need that for at all, but looks cool anyway :P
The concept keyboard they're designing next looks cool too! Not really something you'll have for personal use, or if you live in a normal house. That's something you'll have if you lived in futuristic house with a computer built-in to the wall with a huge screen. And everything must be white :P
