Lol well ill start from the beginning. I was really close to one of my friends, err lets call him, erm bob? Me and bob were really close like meeting up, msn, texting, blah, then he told me he liked me and i was a bit confused about my feelings for him so i told him to give me some time. He showed a even bigger liking to me after this like phoning me every night and my feelins grew for him, specially after the school trip to new york where i was with him 24/7. As soon as we got back, us and all of our friends were out and they was staying out all night but being the lazy cow i am i came home about 12. I found out the next day he spent the night in a tent with one of my best friends [Lets call her- Sarah?] Sarah avoided me at school the whole week after that that, and Bob stopped talking to me, avoided me and didnt answer any of my texts. I thought id just give him because he obviously wasnt into me. I actually felt feelings for him though that i never did for anybody else so i was really gutted. About a month after me and sarah was back to normal, and i just admired bob from afar. All of our friends was uncomftable around me and wouldnt speak about Bob or Sarah, allthough they all swore they was just friends. A few weeks later, i couldnt be myself around sarah because she knew my feelings for Bob [lol i do laugh everytime i type bob] and she noticed i was off-ish with her. She finally said something to me on msn and asked me what was wrong but i just denied anything and she guessed it was Bob. She admitted to meeting up with him and going round his house and cinema etc with him but said she stopped all contact with him once she realised what it was doing to me (But she must have known before - I didnt shutup about him?) and we had a big heart to heart about it. A little while after this, me and sarah was totally back to normal and both blanking Bob and agreed not to get close to him again. But when im with her i notice he still texts her. I still have major feelings for him and everytime were out i get butterflies and cant bring myself to go near him. Am i just stupid lol ? I know im gonna get told to get over him but ive tried..? I'd say that the only way to get "over" him would be to confront him about how you felt about him, and if you still like him, tell him, but if you want to stay true to your friend, Sarah, you'd have to tell him that you don't want to be anymore than friends with Bob. Although, from my point of view, of what you have told us, it just seems like he was leading you on, and then went straight to Sarah. The fact that Sarah started ignoring you does suggest that she knew what it was doing to you.

'Bob' (lol) sounds like he got bored of waiting around for you, so he moved onto your best friend (could he have been trying to make you notice him/make you jelous?) 'Sarah' was wrong for doing this, but it's obvious she was sorry and I'm glad you made up. :)
I think the best thing you should do is move on, and not have anything more to do with 'Bob' apart from be friends.
