I would just like to take the time and praise those who work in creating uploadpicz and making it a better place to upload images on. Its fast, it helps uploading images and has never failed me.

People don't say it enough, but thank you and congratulations, its a wonderful image uploader and hope to see more improvements done to it.

It is great but..

1. needs better template
2. few more features ie url to image upload (you put url of image in and it uploads automatically, this is better than saving image then uploading)
3. Video uploader ...?
4. More features on home page (latest posted pic, most hits etc)

If you notice, the URL upload is there..

Video hosting takes a lot of space/bandwidth.. and the name is UploadPicz, not UploadPiczand/orVideos.

Erm...not to be a negative ned here, but all the uploadpicz did was download an upload script, upload the upload script, change a few file perms and a few settings really..they didn't even make that layout, I think there is still potential to improve.

In my opinion, if they make the new layout which I described in the poll, it would look decent :) (pretty much a combo of photobucket, imageshack and tehupload ideas thrown around).

Lol what a horrible attempt to "stir up trouble". Its obvious you're attempting to get Dentafrice to criticise it or something, because you really have had absolutely nothing to say about it before the whole TehUpload thing happened.

It does the job for me, only site I use to upload images it does everything I need. It doesn't look great nor does it have many functions but as long as it does the job it's fine by me.

End of the day TehUpload will always be developing alot quicker and faster than this "website" - if you can even call it that. Plus Caleb is more than welcome to use all of my content infrastructure (11 dedicated boxes around UK, germany, france and US).

Honestly that means nothing to me, i just use any upload which i remember the url and its simple, and quick.

Both techupload and uplaodpicz do that for me.

I meant design wise :P Generically speaking, they all use grey tones and one specific colour e.g. orange for imageshack, blue for photobucket etc.

I think it's because Caleb has alot of passion in what he does with TehUpload, while on Habbox there seems to be a huge lack of passion in every department and what they do, UploadPicz.com included. He isn't forced to make the website, he does it because he wants to, he finds great pleasure in what he does! While on Habbox it seems to be a "do this or don't bother coming back" sort of attitude. If the people behind Habbox had the passion most other sites had, it would be a really neat site to be apart of (community wise). Get staff doing what they want and not push them about, listen to them and generally making a relaxed, chilled out atmosphere. At the moment it's not at all chilled out, this sort of event is a good example. You could use the rules too, you don't need a giant section with specific rules, most of the rules in the FAQ seem to revolves around pointless posting and behavioural rules...

Source, Habbox have the funding to support Uploadpicz as much as it needs :) There is absolutely no need to offer a website a very high connection speed when it doesn't need it as it's just a waste of money that could be put to better use. If UploadPicz becomes popular then yes, then I'm sure they'd upgrade their servers to specs that'll support the new level of visitors :) (Not like the current specs wouldn't support a high level of visitors, as I'm sure the servers are very good).

Fair enough :) I'm just saying the infastructure is there for Caleb when he needs it, the servers are always @ around 50mbit activity each with my other sites which is why I have them... be a bit stupid having them if I didn't need them ^_^

Pretty much the same reason as to why I use it. It's easy to use and reliable.
