As part of Habbox News Department's ongoing shake-up to bring you the most efficient news service possible, we are abolishing the traditional role of the all round News Reporter.

Instead, the role will be split in ten seperate positions, with each position being filled by between one and three reporters, significantly boosting Habbox News staff numbers.

Below are the new positions.

Habbo UK Reporters
Habbo US Reporters*
Habbo CA Reporters*
Habbo AU Reporters
Habbo (All Other Hotels) Reporters**
Outside Habbo Politics Reporters
Outside Habbo Sport Reporters
Outside Habbo Technology Reporters
Outside Habbo Entertainment Reporters
Outside Habbo (All Other Subjects) Reporters**

*Roles could be subject to merging.
*Roles could be abolished or heavily altered.

Although several of these roles have already been assigned to current or incoming members of staff, we have several still available and are open to expanding the amount of staff taking on any one role. Therefore, we are now opening applications for all of the above positions. If you want to apply for any of these positions, please read the below information and fill out the form provided.

The applications will be open from now until Monday, 1st September.

Simply fill out the following application and send it to Yum999 via PM on or before the closing date.

Please note you will need to register a Habbox.com (Joomla) account in order to be eligible for a position within the News Department.

Habbo Name:
Habbox Forum Name:
Specific Position (eg. Outside Habbo Political Reporter - Please note you may have a maximum of two positions only.):
Your time zone:
Reporting experience (if any, list the past or current sites you worked for):
Why you would like to become a member staff:
What qualities can you offer the news department?
An example of YOUR work (Any work that is found not to be yours will lead to your barring from all future news applications):

Applications will close on 1st September, as previously mentioned. Successful applicants will be contacted within the following twenty four hours, and will gain permissions on September 10th. Their positions will officially become active on September 13th, the date we hope to begin using the new staff structure.

Your trials will last for five weeks, and for each position you take on, you will be expected to write ten reports during that period. This will be reduced to three per week in your specialist category if you pass your trial.

Please feel free to send any questions you may have to Yum999 or Mrs.McCall. It is worth noting that once all positions are filled, applications are likely to open far less frequently than they have done in the past. There are also only a limited number of spaces available, but remember that we award them on quality of application rather than on a first come first served basis.

Best of luck. :)
