Hey,

Just got myself a new camera few days ago:

http://www.cameralabs.com/reviews/Canon_EOS_450D_Digital_Rebel_XSi/images/Canon450D_slant_400w.jpg
Canon EOS 450D

Still currently using the kit lens however I do plan to upgrade to a better lens when I get the money (£170 so far). Heres a quick example of some photos I have taken with it:

I am very pleased with the camera and would recommend it ;)

Thanks,

Tom

I use the model down from this, the 400D. The 450D is a better model, with 0.5 FPS more, and 2MP more.

I always only reccomend a D-SLR for photographers, as it is pointless having one for snaps.

Good luck though.

Yes, but everyone disagrees with you because anyone can buy one and become a photographer. Heck, anyone can be a photographer without a SLR... You do realise there are loads of famous photographers that use pin-hole/shoe box cameras? They're not snaps, infact most of the time they're very impressive. And also, stop using the word "snaps." A photo is a photo...

Anyway, ignoring the wannabe. Good camera choice :) Hopefully we'll be seeing some excellent photos from you :)

Lol, I really can't believe some of the things you came out with. Is it possible to puncture your big headedness in and way? You're a "snapper" Darren. Always have and always will be. Just because someone takes better pictures than you doesn't mean you need to get jealous.

What on earth is a snapper? As far as I am aware, anyone who takes photographs is a photographer. There is no limit other than you take photos. How you take them and what with does not differ this...

I have had Josh argueing with me on MSN, saying that Tom's images compete with mine, however this is not the case.

Tom's photos are OK/Good, however they do not compete with mine. I am not being big headed, I am just saying the truth.

GommeInc

You cannot compare your photos with someone else and say they're good, it's up to the people viewing them. And I think you should scrap this "snapper" word, it makes no sense and no real photographers use it, or none of the big, famous one's I've seen.

NO Darren, YOU are bias. When I design graphics etc I never take my opinion into account, you show other people who are ultimatley your average users who would use the graphics. Everyone thinks their own work is better than it actuall is. If you want to be a good 'photographer' you need to take feedback on board and realise you are ok, you aren't that great.

Loqo
18-08-2008, 04:27 PM

DarrenToogood

however I can not take serious feedback from people like yourself and a lot of Habbox users, because it is bias due to personal hatred and past events.

So everyone in the world is bias against you? Lets say for a minuite people are bias, why are they? because you are arrogant ALL the time. You slam other peoples projects etc then think yours is the best.

I always only reccomend a D-SLR for photographers, as it is pointless having one for snaps.
I love how you think anyone cares about your recomendations. Anyway you arent a professional photographer, ok? Also why would it be pointless having one for 'snaps'. If you want to take good pictures then....

They're good, but anyone can take photos like that. Loads of people in AS and A2 Photography took photos like that, and one person did really good photos of cut fruit submerged in lemonade as studio work. They were really good. Just stop with the biased posts and stop telling people their snappers when snappers are photographers. Anyone can buy an SLR, they're just a different type of camera which you can focus on different object or different areas of an object.
