Hello everyone :)

I need to install ioncube to do all automated tasks and to encode the php files , i know how to install it

But i dont know how i edit php.ini to put zend_extention in

So, how do you edit php.ini?

Thanks, Josh

BTW: I have a Virtual Private Server

+rep is also up for grabs :P

You just go to where you php.ini is located.

Usually /etc/php.ini or /etc/php.ini or /var/php/php.ini

Then edit it as the installation said.

Then just restart Apache or lighttpd.

service apache restart

or

service lighttpd stop
service lighttpd start

They are not going to.. :| You need to login to shell.. and use nano/vi/pico/vim or whatever texxt editor you use.

These files are hidden. To get them to show up it is very easy if you use Cpanel.

When opening file manager there are two check boxes. Click the one, 'Show Hidden Files'

Sorted.

In WHM you can easily edit it via the link entitled "PHP Configuration"

If you can't simple edit a system file, why do you have a VPS/own a hosting company? :|

Why do you need to install the file anyway?

WHMCS download file includes ioncude in the zip file. - Thats if you have a legal copy :)

I know that, but IonCube cant do run-time on my server, It actully needs to be installed in the zend_extentions in php.ini
