Hi
I am going to buy this monitor for my macbook. Is it good? I'm just looking for a cheapish, large monitor with decent graphics. Seeing as I am not good with telling what the graphics are like, can someone do it for me? Link is below :)

It will certainly do you good :) I believe Samsung make good monitors.

Does anyone know if I have the lid on the macbook down, and the screen goes black, would the additional monitor still work?

Yeah, I think you have got to set it up. You can have the lid down and the monitor (which you choose for the main display) will still be on.

I am pretty sure that is only on a MBP i may be wrong though

Macbook Pro.
Looks like a decent monitor. Probably will be cheaper online or elsewhere.

Ahhh you can do it to a MB as well i always thought it was a MBP feature.
