region 1 dvds on xbox [Archive]

does anyone know if a region 1 dvd could play on a english xbox? some dvds can play all regions so just wondering if the xbox can. rep+ to help.

If you've still got the box it came in, it will say on the side, but UK xbox 360s are generally Region 2, only.
