blocked ear

a few hours after i came out of the shower my ear felt as if it was blocked so i cleaned it with a cotton bud but there was no wax there. now my hearing in that ear feels dulled and now i can hear a constant ringing. :(

That's happend to me before, except it only happens when i go in the bath O.o
And yeah basically i just had water in my ear
If it doesn't get any better i suggest ear drops, they'll probably work :)

Keep yawning it'll eventually pop, or if it's got water trapped just keep tilting your head to a direction and shaking your head slightly it should pour out.

This is common. Tilt your head and masage your ear nearer the neck. It might be cleared up the next day. Is it sore at all? If it is sore then it might be an ear infection.

It should go soon, it's best not to put things like cotton buds in your ears as they can damage them as well.

It might have something to do with the pressure. Hold your nose with your fingers and blow as hard as you can as if you're doing it out your nose, it makes your ears pop.

Put olive oil in your ear. I have this verry often and the doctor just tells me to put a teasppon of olive oild in my tea and wiggle the ear about while lyeing on you side. Should take arround 15 misn for olive oil to go. Then wait and it may unblock.

I got this and it wouldn't go for 2 weeks so I had to go doctors and get my ear syringed where basically they don't inject you they just stick something which shoots water into your ear to clean it out

I got that before. I had an ear infection afterwards - not pretty.

I agree with hayd93, go with olive oil. That was what the nurse told me when I had that problem.

gt otex ear drops and put them in with cotton wool in less then 30min your ear will be sorted coz the otex brings all the water/wax to the surface then the cotton wool will absorb it

Yeh, its trapped water in your ear. I suggest shaking your head sid to side quite fast, thats what i do and it comes out.

Try jumping if you haven't already, have gotten this many times (just once when I showered today), it really works. Jump moree! :D
