How do I stop this from showing up?
My batteries are fine, responsive and just as fast as normal. The software is clearly broken as when the batteries actually are low it doesn't tell me, it just doesn't move. It keeps popping over my games and making me lag.
It's a Logitech MX600 mouse and I can't see any options in SetPoint. +Rep to useful posts.
End the Logi_MWX.exe process in task manager while gaming.

Replace the batteries. I know mine just dies soon after the alert pops up

I can't see that process running, nor find that executable on my system :(

The batteries are relatively new (2 weeks top) and I can't afford new ones, clearly the program is exaggerating.

Two weeks is a long time for batteries to last, especially in wireless equipment if they are being used every day.

If you have a wireless mouse, you really should have chargable batterys, they can be bought very cheap, and so can the chargers. it will save you a FORTUNE in the short-long term. otherwise your better off with a optical wire mouse.

He speaks the truth ^ Rechargable batteries arent expensive, I use them for pretty much everything I own.

I agree. You can get a 4 pack and always have two on standby when the other two die out. Batteries in mouses run out very quick. Thats why I went and bought myself a MX Revolution so I can charge it up at night and it will be ready for me in the morning.

No point in having a wireless mouse if your at your desk IMO.
This reminds me, I have to take mine back. It started double clicking on single click :'(

My keyboard, about 2 years old and has only had the batteries replaced once, the mouse, same age, about 3 times.

Don't buy a cheap no-name-brand keyboard ;]
My mouse has had the low battery light flashing for over 4 days now and it's still going fine.

Didn't realise people had such problems. Well that's one good thing I can say about my wireless keyboard and mouse, and that's also it :P
Can't wait to move back to wired, the speed and accuracy is just nothing compared to wired in my opinion.

you don't need software for a mouse, unless it is a really rubbish one it should have it's own drivers. Simply uninstall the software and continue as normally.
The software adds extra functions that the generic drivers don't do.

In games like COD4 my mouse is slow and crap if I use the Logitech drivers, with the generic Windows drivers its fine haha

I installed the drivers for my mouse because I can customize the buttons to do different functions. So not all drivers are useless :)

I had a wireless mouse for a while, but I hated it so I got a corded one! Much better imo.
