Hey,

If I was to make one, would you be interested in installing a HabboxForum application on your iPhone/iPod touch? (Which you could use to browse the forum quicker, etc).

I'm thinking about learning X Code/iPhone SDK and I thought this could be an application I could make to get started.

What do you think?

It's only $99, and I guess I could develop other applications if I get enough knowledge from making a HxF application.

would be better to do a application that can preview vbulletin boards better.

I guess I could make both. One designed to be used on vB forums and one that's skinned and stuff for use on HxF.

I don't quite understand the need for one now there is a mobile skin? It would be good if some additional features could be added to that but I can't see much demand really.

I'd rather there were just a few additional features to the mobile skin really :P

You just make the application for vB forums and have a plugin for hxf

Well for one, the mobile skin is bloody ugly and I may be able to make it easier to view pm's, post replies, etc.

I'd use it, definetly.

Well, I'm finishing the X Code & iPhone SDK installation now and I'll start looking at the X Code language tonight.

It is if it was similar to the Facebook and MySpace applications. The black bar at the bottom with all the buttons on (as seen in the Facebook App), one for the PM system, one for subscribed threads and one for forum options and details... then one that just shows all the forums.

I would install it and use it. But don't do what all the other app developers did wrong, use the accelerometer so people can use the larger keyboard. Mabe a popup when you get a pm and if you are going to make an app for all vbullitens then a login for admins would be a great addition (Just for moderating)

Before spending your money you may want to download the free personal version just to make sure you are able to make the app ;)

I would like PMs, and in fact, there would be a practical way of posting, forget making it look like the forum itself, make it look like the menus (like the one in settings), bar for habbo forums, clicking takes you to subforms, and further onwards, would work better.

But I still would not use it.

If you want that you may aswell use safari.

I would use it, but I like the general vB forum app too, so then I could look at OCN, HXF and TSR :P

When your done with this project, you could make a video recorder app if it is possible. And you could make quite alot of money of it;)

They are a waste of money for what features you are getting TBH, that's probably what he meant.

He then should of posted that :P If or whenever I get an iPhone I probably use this. If it gets made.

If it was an all round vB one and it was simplified but not too simplified, like it had the black toolbar with New Post on it and other stuff then I'd probably use it but if it was just Habboxforum then probably not.

It's a decent idea but I just don't use Habbox on my iPod Touch that much and safari is decent enough for me.

This will never work, Apple won't accept the application because its for one site and its an un-popular, (niche) teenager site. They are very strict on what iPhone apps they accept.

But if it were for vBulletin sites in general, then they might. Dunno if it were for just HxF

To be honest it's not worth it. But it'd be an awesome learning experience. iPhone is all objective C. So you'd pickup on it fast, Xcode is a bunch of applications.

I wouldn't.
I barely use Habbox on my PC, let alone my iPod touch.
