I'm not sure if I'm meant to be amazed or worried about the joyful music masking the explosions in the TV ad. Looks pretty cool though :P This doesn't seem to be heavily mentioned anywhere, this is the first time I've heard about it :S

It was 'undercoverly developed' for around 3 years, only just went public at the end of last year. I played the first one and I knew already half-way that there would be a sequal

The reviews don't look too good, OPM gave it a 7... and some early buyers are really hating it.

Mercs 2 isn't over hyped at all :S the hype for it is barely even a dent in anything

There is a difference between something being over hyped and people actually wanting the game :S If it was over hyped it'd be all people talk about, it'd have lines of people waiting outside game shops right now waiting for it, just because a forum for Mercs 2 is popular it doesn't mean it's hyped, you should of seen the Two Worlds forum just before that was released

Rent from the blockbuster, see if you like, if not then dont buy it. That's what i do with most games

It's really fun with a friend or random guy, blowing up Venezuela is more enjoyable when you do it together!, the single-player thing is alright but lacks something... I think it just needed a bit more polish imo
