Are you angry because both of your teams dropped points? :(

Where are rest of the Arsenal fans any way? Do they only post here when they are top of the league?

Oh no, I'm not angry. Why would I be angry when I actually went to see the game. You'll be the angry one sitting in the front of the T.V shouting, "Go on number 2, brilliant touchdown"

Have some sense. If I went to Fulham, I would not be on this forum at this present time. I am a Cardiff fan. I have a season ticket.

Mine was £149.

So that is around £6 a match. Now compare that to the price of United's tickets and plus I have to travel from Leicester to Manchester and back

I also attend away games and Wales games so add that into it.

Hence, why most people say stuff about you attending matches.

Yes I do attend matches though just not every game. I also have to pay adult prices unlike you so that costs even more. If tickets were £6 for every game I would go to every game but the cheapest tickets at United are around £30 and that is in the worst seats.

Yes, I know that there is obviously going to be a substantial price gap between Man Utd and Cardiff.

Anderson, Hargreaves, Park, Tevez will all be back and Portsmouth looked awful when we played them in the Charity Shield and were poor against Chavski last week. I am confident we will win this one.

I lol'd. How the hell can someone who "supports" one of the top 4 criticise another team below them and even worse criticise the fans who attend games.

You got the right idea Matt, and Pleke's name is Jay..

And I don't own a red season account anymore so I don't buy many tickets seeing as I'm only 14 I can't afford to go to every game, but you don't need to sit at a stadium to support a team, I watch every game. Problem?

Geraint
23-08-2008, 09:00 PM
This "My ticket is more than yours" thing is a load of ********. Man United have 70,000 every week, Arsenal have 60,000. Now I'm not saying they all attend every match but how do people them do it? If you'd all stop criticising the lower league teams, then maybe no-one would say anything. I wouldn't go on say "LOL! Swindon. League One." I might if he said Cardiff were crap but that would be use for ****taking purposes only. I'd rather watch every game in a stadium than watch it on the tele. If your struggling to pay for football matches, then there must be other teams around, surely? Doesn't mean you have to stop "supporting" a big 4 team as lots of people like 2 teams.

*waits to be flamed mainly due to the last bit*

Support a different team every week? I know people who are Liverpool fans and as Cardiff is close, they've gotten into supporting Cardiff but also follow Liverpool. Like I said, it doesn't mean that people have to stop supporting that club.

Bigger fan bases mean nothing. I know people who can get tickets easily. More than 50,000 wanted to go Wembley and I got one as I am an Ambassador. Bigger stadiums = more room.

Yeh one united members can use viagogo or you can apply for tickets in the ballot. I applied for every match last season in the ballot and got 2 tickets for one game all season.

You have to pay for one united membership btw.

Let's say, Manchester United have 50,000 season ticket holders. That means 20,000 are left spare for people to pay on the day. It's quite easy to be one of those 20,000 but obviously they will sell out as people will just go to the odd game.

Arsenal lost against Fulham, well done. Fulham played well and Arsenal were unlucky although I have to question Wenger's team selection. Denilson, Eboue and Song? He seriously needs to spend cash otherwise Arsenal are once again out of the race for the title this year.

I support Doncaster Rovers after my friend took me there November last year, however, I've always liked Arsenal and I still 'have a place in my heart'.

in the last 5 games united have lost twice and drawn once to them.
i get the impression that united think they are going to go to fratton park and walk all over them. difficult game ahead for united and if they do win it im expecting it to be by just the 1 goal.

Eboue is there cos fabregas is injured and so is Diaby. Otherwise Denilson and eboue wouldnt be playing, possibly Eboue on the right with nasri in the middle.

Song is a terrible player, but, its the same with most "top 4" managers, give your bench a run around against teams like that..... Arsenal did play poorly. Im not denying that, but we still had chances - granted not many but some, so we did try.

United dont win every game, didnt Arsenal beat them last season? I cant remeber if it was last season or the one before or both? Anyway, im not arguing, oh and United.Road (TopRed) we have lives, you always say "where are the fans" well, we dont wait for a result and run on the Pc going OMGDZ EWE LOTZ! I was on Holiday. We have lives, get one.

Oh and im 16, 17 in November and i get tickets for £20 at Arsenal £12 if its against "smaller clubs" e.g Wigan. And not bad ones either, right behind the Away goal near the away fans.
Oh and also, dont Arsenal have more points than you. Maybe you will after tonight against pompy, but still!
