I got taken into hospital last night expected appendicitis got put on the drip and everyone is the weirdest sensation ever, doesn't feel right at all

I had my appendix removed when I was 7, the difficult part is getting to the toilet with the drip. I don't remember the drip feeling wierd :S mabe yours wasn't applied correctly.

na i just had a liver and kidney infection got tablets for a couple of months, it's when the fluid goes in for the first time you can like feel it running up your vein and when you turn it off aswell.

I've had loads of them. About 5 blood transfusions and 3 drips I've had in my life time, all when I was 6 and younger :P You big babies :P

So if you're out at the moment does it mean you're fine or are they going to remove it anyway?

The things they put in your arm to make sure your getting the correct vitamins and suppliments in yoru daily life. They pump a load of fluids in because you probably cant drink before operations/diagnosis

probably just water that has been medically cleaned, the pills will do the rest. So what will you do at school for example (or work) when you're thirsty and you can't drink and you don't have your drip?

i can drink normally now as I aint having a operation just gotta have 2 tablets aday with a 500ml bottle of water each for 3 months

took the doctor ages to find a vain was quite amusing to be honest and it nipped alittle not alot but nipped for a good 30 mins whilst my body got use to it I guess.

My appendix bursting was way fun. I love the hospital. They put this cream on your hands to numb it when they put the drip in but I can do it without. It does literally just feel like a scratch. I've had 1 drip in my lifetime

Eugh try a drip for three days D:
I didn't feel the stuff going in my arm but because it was in for so long the plastic started to come off and everytime i moved my arm it would like stretch my skin o___T

I had something like 2 8 Hour bags of glucose and 4 bags that lasted a few hours. They go, oh yeah once its done you can go home. It finished so they put on another one ¬¬

I've had a bad experience with needles..

About a year ago I had to have an injection and as you all know how much I hate needles, the nice man missed the spot twice so I had 3 injection and he popped a vein on one of them

Lolol talking about needles, i had this nurse try to take a blood test and she put it in my arm twice took it out and went-

My appendix burst in thailand, they completely botched the operation and just injected morphine in to me whenever i moaned... not so good. If your appendix is going to burst, try and be in a country where they speak english!!

But them drips don't look very nice.
