I dunno if this will be read or taken in thr wronge way, sorry to you that for some odd reason take this in a bad way. Personnaly o feel that habbo has gone a bit down hill fomr when i used to play in 2004. I still do now but thats not the point. I feel that right now yes some of the new addons are preety sick, but some are not. At first the new clothing, to me i thought oh this is sweet, now i can show my personnality more. but as time when on, ive noticed it more in people from the uk, that like 70% of habbo club members dress the exact same way. With different colours obviously. But yea, its that one look, cinese headband, big black glasses, coloured beads to match the star on the head and shorts. before this people yea looked the same but they acccualy had their own thought process. Thats, just how i feel, so sorry for people that for some odd reason take offence by that...

So secondly, i feel that habbo is deffenitly trying way to hard with new ferni. I have not seen any new peice of ferni that has become a decent to trade. Norms are norms so they are out of the picture, and maybe other then a dragon made like 2 years ago, i don't think any of there new rares have been worth over 2hc's for more then a day. And lastly when they put in rares in the Catalogue, it ruins good ones, like the petal, gold amber, and i can only asume others that i have forgotten. Other then that haha i have nothing to say, the litte amount of scamming is evidently good. oh and For the poeple that somehow read this, and are those who yell scamm in a falling ferni when the host leaves... Don't get over your head... you need to experience what it was like in 2002-2004 i think, i cant remember but you are not losing anything, and if you did you lost like once norm.. its then the end of the world. Really, now, the only decent scams are casino ones and for that just uses a trusted friend.. right now most scams are from stupidity... like casinos, when you go to a low populated one that doesnt look well made, Falling fernis i guess :S but thats not a scamm in my books, or like quick trading... that is your own fault, you get greedy and you pay for it... soo say what you want but i feel that, that is truth and for the most part quite accurate, other then the first paragraph. So again im sorry if i somehow offended someone.

true that. A lot of the personalities of people on habbo has gone down aswell, the people just have no respect or others at all, it's all about furni. There are still plenty of people on and making good rooms and doing good things, but when they leave I think there will be a long period of waiting for the majority of people on habbo to mature...

I totally agree with this post.
And what somone siad about personalitys going down-hill

Since the V18 update I've met a meer 3 people that are like me.
I mean how sad can people get to change EVERYTHING about themselves to fit in with some sad people on the internet... (Yes I relise Im patetic for playing Habbo ;))
But I joined in 2006 and I though Habbo was AMAZING.
Yeh, But in short Habbo is going downhill and I can see it closing within the next 2 years ;)

What do you mean; "I've met a meer 3 people that are like me."

I've met tons of people who have absolutely fantastic personalities.

Why do people always say back in the day 2002/2003/2004 were the greatest days of Habbo? They were the most entertaining, but far from the best, there were easy hacks/risk of your account/people had just bagun habbo so I guess thats why it was great because scamming wasn't everything then, tbh from then to here, its changed alot and whole lot better.

I agree with the thread title on about ''same personalities'' like there would be the ''Gay but not gay/dating habbo but not dating habbo guy'' then you would meet the ''Geek of Habbo who seems to make everyone feel like a box'' then you'd meet the ''Habbo who wins everyone'' and final of, the noobish HC's who are ''Proud'' to be HC and discriminate those without HC :S What I laugh at, even tho being a HC myself.

Remember, if you don't like Habbo, don't play it. Habbo isn't for living, its for enjoying. Don't like someone on Habbo? Get out of there way because your either gonna embarris yourself or waste your own time.

From Reading this, im not sure if you disagree with me or not? First from the old days, there were not as many "noobs" i guess i would say. making the hotel more enjoyable i guess, people had more respect for each other and the hacking only happened to people that were greedy or not intellegant.

For the last paragraph, i do enjoy habbo, but there are some spots in it that bug me as i stated before. And i do play for enjoyment. Lastly, its not that i dont like poeple in habbo, its that everyone follows the same fad, and when there is atleast 3-7 people in each populate room its somewhat tought to get out of there way. i do enjoy habbo, Alot i didnt expect everyone to agree with me and thats fine but i dont think that i embarrised my self or waisted my time.

The community is dull now. If you go in the help centres they're conjoined with radio sites like that HFFM and all the people are called something like -Leslie. Either that or people like visa who are as annoying as they look.

I think its quite hard to make friends on Habbo since everyones so greedy/ cant take jokes

(Like robbing a e-tescos)

I think 2003-2005 was a good era. I don't like Habbo now because:

There's more younger players now (many users under 11 or 12) and I don't think they should be playing. For one, the online play in many cases isn't appropiate for you (I wouldn't want my younger sister on Habbo because of this), and I'm not saying all Habbo users under 12 are immiture, but many younger players are immiture.
Habbo staff removed the Hobba team, which was a mistake, because I can't express how poorly the moderation team now works. MOD-Extreme came into the HxHD a bit more than a month ago to ban a scripter and I asked him why it took 4 times asking him to come(and yes, I was polite in the message), and he just told me that scripting wasn't a high priority any more. Reduculous in my opinion. After that he and I argued for at least five minutes before he heft. Moderation staff argue with users now?
There's too many badges. Getting a badge was a special thing years ago, now everyone has a variety of badges, ununique.
Changing your account password or appearance within the Habbo client was much better than having to open an additional window or tab.
They actually renamed the game from "Habbo Hotel" to just "Habbo...why!?
UK Habbo has removed all ways of Canadians to purchase credits, besides money order. If I want credits, I'm sending it over sea.
This new Habbo welcoming/helping thing is the worst idea ever. Did Habbo ever concitter helpers would ask for beginner's password, wait for them to do something like purchase HC, then scam them? I've seen that happen MANY times now.

There's two things I prefer about the newer Habbo, battle ball is free, and there's a great deal of new items out. Having said that, Habbo never keeps these new items out long enough.

Why do people always say back in the day 2002/2003/2004 were the greatest days of Habbo?
For me personally, it is loading a room in under 30 seconds (from Australia), and the furniture loading BAM, instead of now, loading a room in 30 seconds,go in, can't walk anywhere because there are stupid "This furniture is loading..." boxes everywhere :@

And, i agree a lot with the above post.

I have nothing against the actual changes habbo make to the rooms or navigator or w/e, but it did annoy me when they made everything website based rather than client based.
I also find myself hating many users I see. Seriously, hating them. But still, nothings ever going to get done about what we think and that's the truth imo.

The rare system has been ruined
most HC's are horriable to 'noobs'
most 'noobs' are really anoying
there are not as much competitions
what competitions there are its 'answer this poll' and the user just needs to ba able to read to get the answer.
Most of the prizes are 1 month HC :eusa_wall
the clothing is crap (especially the american jackets) :eusa_wall

I know people always go on about it, but there are just so many HCs who think spending £2 a month makes everyone else a 'noob'. I often find myself being kicked by arrogant HCs, just today I was in the final of a TC, where 5 hosts had all come into the room, not to mention the person I was playing against, had rights. Then when I won he just laguhed and threatened to rev, only to then decide: "nah, just give it to the little nooby" :S
I swear I could strangle these people irl.

I think for the creator of this thread it has merely nothing to do with others but somewhat to do with yourself. If you understand the way people behave properly, they follow groups to get acceptance or in one young's mind to learn; like for instance young children copying their parents, its natural so don't blame people for copying HC clothing. You'll find it on every virtual world and I see these sort of subjects on every single virtual game I have been on, so no surprise really. Your debates are obviously valid, but there's a sole reason you posted this thread which only you know.

You know what i totally agree with you on that. But im just saying, why wasn't it like it is now, 3 years ago? There were still children playing, im sure of it, but people still dressed or acted differently. So is it that just younger people in general have changed? or older people just notice it more? I think that it's a bit of both to be honest.

What gets on my nerves is that it almost seems like the older people that do it more. and yes i have noticed that it has gone downhill since i started this thread but i do still see it. It's people between the ages of 14-16 that follow the trend. So i dunno, but yes i do think that your point was well worded and made me think, i do hope to hear from :P

And HotelUser i do feel what you go through seeing as i am also Canadian,

Habbo is rubbish now lol, I've been seeing loads of mainly new people from 07-08 that are HC discriminating other habbos, while playing battle ball, saying "stupid non-HC", it was to me lol, but the stupidest thing is that I was wearing black number "8" vest and black hat and black trousers, the fact that black is for HCs and the person was smart enough to try say that I wasn't HC. Although I was Gold HC II. She then asked why I wasn't wearing HC clothes lol, I said that's my reason really. Then she actually became quiet. Stuff like this can become very annoying, espicially rude people on Habbo these days trying to 'out smart' you, but really they are dumb.

Spirit, i Agree with you. A lot of the new HC's have little to no disrespect to other people, cause i have seen it towards other hc's also. Now habbo has evoled from being a play where you meat people and what not, then getting some ferni to enjoy yourself to a crazed site where social isnt even one of the main things. All it is now is people wanting to become rich, and once they are, down talking to everyone forgetting that they were the apparent "noob" once too. That's why i dont understand the word Noob.. unless you use it in a joke sence, when using it your just being a hypocrite (spelling?) cause no one was not a noob at one point in there gaming life...

You spelt hypocrite correct :), yeah everyone was a noob at one point at habbo, but some people just don't get the meaning of the word, so they misuse it and they tell a different story... I have noticed noobs are becoming much richer than before lol. Although Habbo is meant to be a community site, people just abuse other players and destroy the meaning of 'community'.
