Anybody know what this is called and where I can get one? :P
You can use a normal phone line cable :P
If not, you need a network cable.
Wireless would be the best option though.

As in, make a cable longer?
You can get ethernet cable > ethernet cable adaptors so you can connect to cables together to make two cables into one.

I believe it's called a double female ethernet connector/adapter.
Which wire you trying to extend? Internet cable doesn't tell us much really.
You could also use Powerline :)

if you're looking for a phone line extension as nick said the end of it is called an RJ11 lead, just google that and you should find one.
