I keep hearing people wanting retakes due to not passing and not getting the scores they want, I heard it more and more each year and I ain't exactly clever especially in science, i flop quite bit at school but luckily it isn't to late for me but I am sure you get retakes?

To Wootzeh - watch your attitude as the thread starter is obviously distressed by their results and a negative attitude coming from your direction is in no way helpful.

Just incase you don't know - It costs money to retake your exams. I retook maths and english literature and it cost like £35. Retaking them all must cost a bomb.

I suggest that you re-take your Maths & English GCSE and then find an apprentiship or a vocational course in IT/Business seeming has you passed both of them :)!

This is the easiest option I think if you want a decent salary?

Amount of people telling me they failed it, I am noooooooo where near good as 1 person in my class, lol 1 lesson a week :S doesn't exactly make you learn much.

Not really, I had problems at school so I ended up only doing core subjects to help "solve" these problems.. even though all the problems were in the core subjects :l

So I got a C in english and a D in maths. Because my maths was a D, and at level 1, I just simply took a level 2 course at college for a year which had Key Skills which put me up to a level 3 (equivalent to A-C)

GCSE's mean nothing, yes they get you into college easier, but employees would take more notice to degrees etc..

I have absoloutly no gcses and im still going to start training sept to be an air hostess! about 20 grand a year. Not so bad!

well it's pretty easy really if you have any idea what you're talking about. i failed but that's only because i payed no attention in class whatsoever because i found RE incredibly pointless and boring as ****. when are you EVER going to need to know islam teachings and crap.
