Puhh

After a month of going what the **** is going on suddenly Everton have firstly landed one defender and now were going for 3 more according to most sites, it's like Christmas Day at Goodison Park. Wheres the money came from? After having to settle for loans and frees, finally some ****ing decent bids

Lars Jacobson - Signed!

A deal was agreed on Monday and Jacobsen underwent a medical at Finch Farm.
That procedure has now been completed and the Danish international is now an Everton player.
He will be eligible to play against Portmouth on Saturday, subject to Everton receiving his registration from the German FA.

Shaun Wright Philips - Bid

Reports are coming in that Chelsea have told Shaun that he can leave. He can choose between Everton who want a loan deal and Man City who will bid hard cash. (26/08/08)

Nikola Zigic - Bid

Valencia vice-president Fernando Gomez has agreed to let Zigi join the Premiership. He has a choice of either Everton or Villa.
Gomez says: "The exit of Nikola Zigic is next to happen. Now, the decision lies with them (Zigic and his agent) and Valencia is prepared to close the deal." (26/08/08)

You never know, SWP may want to go to Everton and get the experience. If you've been to a club before, you know how it's going to play out and it'll be like a 'been there, done that' experience for him.

Plus, Everton are on the up in the Premier League, they shouldn't be disregarded at all. Man City is also on the up, but then I refer to what I said above.

Should hear the reception he gets at City. He cried when he came out for Chelsea last season...

I read earlier that SWP isn't going to Everton or City, and that he wants to stay at Chelski.

Tune into TalkSport now, the news guy just reported it and Ian Wright just pissed himself laughing! He said that SWP axed that agent in 2003 and mentioned that SWP has made up his mind on where he wants to go and it's where he gets first team football AND where he is wanted by the fans.

Louis Saha!
He's having a medical tomorrow according to the OS. We've signed Segunda Castillo too, just waiting for international clearance.

And apparently, we're waiting on a work permit for Viktor Obbina or something? And something on Moutihno too?

Moyes left it late, didnt he? Hopefully there will be a good old bit of chanting for Moyes tomorrow at the match.

I know Everton aren't exactly the richest club in the world but surely they'll have to attract some stars to their team in order to compete for the Champions League. Tottenham have realised they need to and have. Everton have had recent injuries and already the squad looks bare. A 16 year-old and a 17 year-old playing is good experience but it isn't really whats needed to do well in the Premier League. And with a tough Uefa Cup tie looming, it'll be hard to attract players come January if they get knocked out. I can't see the players Everton have brought in really bolster the squad but this Obbina does look like a decent young player.

Very true, even I'll admit that.
But I think the problem is, there a more clubs out there who have more money than us to spend on getting them stars in our team, we have tried according to Moyes, but it's just not gone our way. Hopefully; we can get a few good players in.

Moyes knows what he wants, I just dont think he's getting given money to spend on players, and I know there are times when if a club is asking too much for a player, Moyes just goes; sack it.
