I got this email the other day!!! Do you think it is true??

Please read this

Notice on car (not a joke)

Just last weekend on Friday night we parked in a public

parking area. As we drove away I noticed a sticker on the

rear window of the car. When I took it off after I got home,

it was a receipt for petrol. Luckily my friend told me not to

stop as it could be someone waiting for me to get out of the

car. Then we received this email yesterday:

'WARNING FROM POLICE

BEWARE OF PAPER ON THE BACK WINDOW OF YOUR VEHICLE--NEW WAY TO

DO CAR JACKINGS (NOT A JOKE)'

. You walk across the car parking , unlock your car and get inside. You

start the engine and shift into Reverse.

When you look into the rearview mirror to back out of your

parking space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle

of the rear window. So, you shift into neutral, unlock your

doors, and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or

whatever it is) that is obstructing your view. When you reach

the back of your car, that is when the carjackers appear out

of nowhere, jump into your car and take off. They practically

mow you down as they speed off in your car.

And guess what, ladies? I bet your purse is still in the car.

So now the carjacker has your car, your home address, your

money, and your keys. Your home and your whole identity are

now compromised!

BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED.

If you see a piece of paper stuck to your back window, just

drive away. Remove the paper later. And be thankful that you

read this e-mail. I hope you will forward this to friends and

family, especially to women. A purse contains all kinds of

personal information and identification d o cuments, and you

certainly do NOT want this to fall into the wrong hands.

Could be, then if you park, reverse into the bay. Sorted.

thanks for that!

I've heard about when you're trying to park, someone parks in the bay next to you so that they're over the line (I can't remember what it is they do, it's something to make parking more difficult), so that you get out and check.. when you do this, carjackers get in your car and take it.

I was waiting for "Send this to 10 friends or tonight I'll steal your car,".

That's actually quite a cunning plan that carjackers do, thanks for this info.

I doubt they'd be clever enough to think of something like that :P But sounds possible anyways

another thing, I know someone who this happened to..

imagine you're selling a car, you start the engine and the 'buyer' says there's a funny noise at the back, you get out and check and whilst you're on your knees looking under the car the thief gets in the car and pisses off.

This scheme is old, and I would lock my car doors when I leave anyway, tis a force of habit :P

To be honest it could easily be true otherwise it would say something like send to everyone or a little girl will appear at midnight
watch out :D

It might not be true but if there is a car thief on habboxforum you've just given him a brilliant idea.

My Mum was talking to me in the car the other night and she said one of her friends told her that one driving home from work later (Around 2am) and she went the the petrol station and put petrol in her car. She walked into the shop to pay and the women said "Just pretend your looking around in the shop, I just seen someone jump in the back of the boot of your car" My Mums friend said she felt sick so she started to look around (He probably couldn't see her in the shop anyway but the women on the till rang the police. Knowing the crappy police now-a-days they took about 50 minutes and they seen the man get out the boot and run off. Could you imagine if the women in the shop didn't see him climb in the boot, scary. This is also a good plan but not everyone needs to reverse out of the petrol station you could just drive off and not notice it.

That's the kind of thing you see in US shows, man that's bad.

That would have proper freaked me out if I got home and someone was in the boot.

I was watching a programme once, and it was based on real life events. Anyway, this woman was in this diner in America and it was late, and this bloke kept asking her if she'd like a drink and she kept saying "No, leave me alone" etc, and on the way home, this man who was annoying her in the diner followed the woman and kept crashing into the back of her car. She tried to drive faster but she was driven off the road by the man from the diner. She sat there in the car with her head in her hands wondering what was going to happen and the bloke from the diner came up to the car and lifted up the boot and pulled this bloke out the back who had a gun. The bloke from the diner was only trying to save the woman from the armed man in her boot.

Thats like one of my biggest fears that I'll leave work at night and somebody will be in my car when I get in it. My moms boyfriend has a new Volvo and it has a heart-beat sensor it can detect a person inside the car and then it warns you on the remote!
