The story is; i'm 16 next week and i want to leave home...

Got a job or any money saved? if not then u havnt got many options at all really. The council wont give u a flat as thers people who need them more!
U could look in to finding a job that includes accomedation but u cant get many of them when ur 16

Unless ur in actual danger then the council wont house u and if u make urself homeless then they wont house u either.
Is ther a mates u could stay at for a while or a family member?

my girlfriends parents would let me stay with them but then i reckon my mum + dad would keep coming round and being anoying 'cos even though am nearly 16 they treat me like a 5 year old and don't let me do anything.

You're 16, probably just samey teen angst. And the average wait for council housing is like 2 years, and they only immediately house those who have been in disasters and are pregnant, so you're stuck I'm afraid.

It seems to me the only option you have is to try and patch up your relationship with your parents. Just try and get along with them till the opportunity to leave home arises, but as that may not be for quite sometime you are just going to have to deal with it I'm afraid.

Hmmm. Cant you wait 2 more years? Then you can go to University and live in Student Accomodation. If not then this short but sweet verse should sum up what you have to look forward too.
