How can I make it so that whenever my wireless connection can't find the 1 I want to connect to, just don't CONNECT ATALL?

E.g. I log on my computer
Connection not found with my wireless router
Connect to no1 ATALL

?

That won't do anything...

If your internet is from a network card in your pc or a wifi ADAPTER unplug them, if its built-in wifi then i have no idea.

Go to Control Panel > Network Connections > Right click on your wireless connection > Wireless Networks tab

Make sure that "Automatically connect to non-preferred Networks" isn't ticked.

- I log on
- Wireless comes on
- Connect to (says any sometimes then connects to the 1 I want) but sometimes says any and then goes for the ONLY unsecure network :@

You ask the most stupidest questions mate, you been posting threads in tech all the past month, and to be honest, It makes you look really really stupid. Then i ask you to do something you dont ever bother, so to be honestm I was trying to help, but your telling me a screenshot wont work.

get lost thats the point, I gurantee most threads in google don't have an answer to be with this topic, they all stay the solution with the screenshots below but nooooo.... it doesn't save the settings, now can u please leave the thread ur not here to help.

loads of unanswered threads + the reason why I ask questions is because I am in the learning curve where as u think u know it all but actually don't.

The problem is that sometimes when I start my computer, my wireless doesn't always connect to the preffered network, instead it goes to the unsecure 1 and it really annoys me because then its more of a risk tbh so I don't use it as well my householder pays for the internet so i don't need anypoint to connect to sum1 else's it is automatically and when I tried the option below it still doesn't work :l, isn't there a way to like connect to nothing if the network I prefer does not have a signal to reach?

Bottom right corner of your computer where the time is. You'll have icons. Get a screenie of those. If you have an icon that goes with your wireless, open it up and screenshot it. If you don't go to the area where you have your wireless connection options and get a screeny of that.

wait I know the problem

basically wzc (wireless zero connection)

when that is disabled it tries to connect to the nearest unsecured network but when it is enabled it connects to the 1 I want.

How can I make it so that wzc is always enabled?
