It's Louis Saha Saha

Come on best news so far, now for Moutinho and MBai kk?!?!?

Everton have agreed a deal to sign Louis Saha from Manchester United.
The Frenchman is set to sign a two-year deal - with the option for a third year - with the Blues for an undisclosed fee.

The move will be completed subject to a medical.

Saha has also played for Newcastle United and Fulham in England and Metz in France.

He has notched 42 goals in his 124 appearances for United, having scored 53 times in 117 appearances for the Cottagers.

The striker has 18 French caps and has scored four times - appearing in the World Cup in 2006.

Saha - Everton's third summer signing - will join other new arrivals Lars Jacobsen and Segundo Castillo at Goodison.

I wonder how much they paid for an injury prone 30 year old. No doubting his class though... when he's fit.

Ooh, very risqué.

Can Yakubu play as a lone striker?

Haha, love it how you say use. ;)

I think he'll get them 10 goals this season. I felt it in my breakfast this morning.

Brandon, believe me - it was something else that was in your breakfast.

He's decent however not top 4 decent. He might do well but he's getting on a bit and I prefer Johnson over Saha any day.

He is a 10 goal season striker, same as Yakubu (and Lescott but let's not talk about that lol). You need a scoring midfielder apart from Arteta and Cahill because they're getting on now.

No top 4 for Everton this season, even with Moutinho.

When I heard about this, I shouted "NOOOO!" down the phone to a Man Utd supporter. He was laughing because he knows how bad Saha is.

I just hope to god that Saha plays a different game to what he did at Manchester United. Seriously, I couldn't class him as skilled in Man Utd and that may well be down to who he's playing with; I hope it is. Everton are panic-buying, but I think they're taking players that they've thought of anyway but now they're buying in succession. I doubt Saha wasn't on Evertons list, he would've been looked at during Everton's search for new players. I just think he might've been further down the list...

A News Conference on Everton TV with David Moyes revealed that Louis Saha is a free transfer (So im guessing its part of the Rooney Money deal, like Phil Neville etc).

so what are you all bumbling on about, we havn't wasted money and certainly havn't risked anything. if hes injured then were just wasting wages thats it!

Moutinho and MBai bids are both on the table. MBai got rejected yesterday however we might put in another one tomoz. The board of directors of Everton and Sporting Lisbon (where Moutinho plays) have been sending faxes and calling throughout the day...

You and your mate are clueless. Saha isn't a bad player, he is a brilliant player and will be a good signing for Everton if he can get back to fitness and hopefully doesn't get injured again. You are clueless when it comes to football as always.

Sorry genius, lol. I think Saha is a bad player, go and use a stress ball if it winds you up to the point that you have to say I'm clueless about football. If he adjusts to Everton's play, which hopefully he will, then maybe we'll see him play differently to what I've seen him play in the past. From what I've seen when I watch him in games, he makes me shudder.

I think if he did come for free, it'll be to finish the Rooney arrangement they had.

Saha is a cracking player when he's fit, I just hope he's get fit so I can see him in action and see what he can do for us.

I read somewhere, that we're paying money to Man Utd depending on his appearances. Not sure if it's true. Cant wait till he's fit.

1443: A little bit more Everton news - their work permit application for Nigerian winger Obinna has been rejected so he will not be signing on loan.

1440: REASONABLY GOOD TRANSFER NEWS

Louis Saha has completed his move from Man Utd to Everton after passing his medical. The striker has signed a two-year deal.

Glad Saha is a Blue now :)

But I'm actually gutted about Obinna's application being rejected :|

How'd it get rejected then. He plays regularly for Nigeria.

I thought he would've got it accepted, personally; because he plays regularly for Nigeria. But I think it's to do with him not having played 75% of their games in the last 2 years, prior to the permit or something. Thats what it said on the OS.

Gutted.

But he plays for Inter Milan. He joined them earlier this year. Maybe it's to due with the fact that he didn't play many games for them or because he's only been with them a short period of time.
