Who do you like? Who don't you like? Why? :]
Let's keep this a mature conversation, guys ;) I'm really interested in what everyone has to say.
Don't like either but democratic party, we shall see Chelsea Clinton go for the whitehouse in a few years... she is a clinton :)

Obama, he seems like a strong leader with the support of the people & an incredible persona and that'll be a breath of fresh air in this age of dull, boring politicians taking 4years to argue out every change in policy they wish to make.

The only problem I have with Obama is that he's promising all of this change and good stuff, but theres no way he's never going to be able to do it all AND offer tax breaks, like he says he's going to. Theres no money to pay for most of the stuff he wants to change :S
I'd rather have Obama than McCain, I think, but I just have a hard time believing Obama.

I'm a Hillary Supporter so in some ways I hope McCain will win; as if he wins there is chance that Hillary may replace failure Barrack in the next race..

But, doesn't he want to start pulling of out Iraq in 2009? That will save a shedload of money and help lower taxes.
I think he'll be good, give America a chance to have a break from Iraq and national security and all that and help focus on themselves.

If he pulls out of Iraq, the chance of us being invaded and/or attacked again is very high :/ That, and all of our soldiers would have died for nothing. It's true that tax dollars will go to better things if we pull out troops, but if we're attacked again, then we'll have something new to put our tax dollars to ><

you wont be attacked again as Alqaeda are tied up fighting in Afghanistan. To say your troops died for nothing will be completely untrue, Iraq is now a democracy... sure people are fighting, but atleast they've got the right to fight for what they believe in (weak I know). Going from a secure tyranny through reform to being a secure democracy was never going to be easy, but America not being there might help. Those men and women certainly didn't die for nothing.
Your main threat now is Russia again and that can be easily avoided if McCain or Obama can negotiate their way through it properly. There may be another terrorist attack, but no-way will they pull off something on the scale of 9/11.
Skirted around your post, really. Sorry =[

Well thats all I'm hoping for in a president right now. We need someone to make sure America is as safe as it can be, and I don't think pulling our troops is the right way to do that, yet.
What does everyone else think? <3

LOL
This is some serious ********.
It has been said that there remain no serious threats in iraq. Afghanistan is the biggest threat. I'd say we have more to fear from russia than iraq. It may just be bark but the concern those words 'We are not afraid of a new cold war' have caused is a little unhealthy.

lol - the USA isn't going to be invaded ahahaha. The USA has never been invaded. I'd be more worried living on the eastern side of Europe where you're looking more likely to be swallowed up by Russia (Belarus, Ukraine, Poland).
The US seemed so bothered about one terrorist attack whilst we've been attacked by IRA terrorists funded by the USA for decades.

I did want Hillary Clinton at first, but as that is now not possible, I'm going for Barack

I'm hoping for Barack Obama to win.
America being invaded actually sounds ridiculous. Troops being pulled out in 2009? How about 2000 and never

lmao it actually does. many consider the president of the US to be the most powerful man in the world. and tbh that means he affects alot of things here especially considering our close relationship with the US. for instance, Barack wants to pull out of Iraq. so Gordon Brown (if he's still in office) may strike a deal with the US to withdraw. however, McCain is pro-war so his influence may end up in more british soldiers sent to Iraq. that could be your husband, your wife, your son, your daughter.
