I seen it advertised yesterday. Their getting old and not funny no more. Carmen Electra is also in Scary Movie 1 at the start. The Scary Movies were the best spoof movies. Especially 1 & 2, 3 & 4 were kinda rubbish, possibly because of the change of director. But yeh, these spoof Movies are running old.

No doubt it will be a piece of trash. As for Scary Movie, the first two were okay, but there are far better spoofs out there. The Wayans need to get back to writing the Scary Movie films.

Yeh it was them who wrote the first 2 I thought it was but didn't want to mention in case it was wrong. Who took over for the 3rd and 4th? Whoever it was needs to stop directing. A Scary Movie 5 but with Wayans involved will get my view for sure, cant see it happening though.

Very bad. Only one new film opened above it, the other 5 places belong to films that came out last week and beyond, as The Dark Knight has gone up from fourth place last week to third.

I find them pretty rubbish and samey to be honest, the only spoof's that made me chuckle were the first two Scary Movies.

They are getting so stale now, it's not like there is even niche appeal since its been done so many times!

I haven't had a chance to see it yet, only bits and pieces when I've been doing theatre checks, but I must say I've seen a few of the Juno spoofs and I think they are hilarious lmao.

Most of the films parodied in Disaster movie actually aren't disaster movies, just the summber blockbuesters, what made me laugh was I found out that the films parodied weren't realsed at the time of writing, so this is a parody of movies that the writers haven't seen, just what was in the trailers. I'm sure it will be hilarious :rolleyes:

I didn't like the scary movies because I hadn't seen any of the movies they were spoofing (is that even a word). I'm not much of a scary movie watcher.

I think i've seen all of the real movies of the spoofs in there except High school musical, which I watched the first three minutes of and turned it off. I'm going to go and see it, then make up my mind about whether people should just stop the whole spoofing thing. :)

I only liked Scary Movie 1 & 2. Spoofs are just getting old now, and are always the same, the only one apart from Scary Movie, that I've seen, is Epic Movie, and I hated that so much.
I will not be watching Disaster Movie in the near future.

Even people who like these garbage spoofs HATE Disaster Movie. I haven't heard a single good thing. What someone needs to do if another must be made, is spoof classic films like the first two Scary Movie films, and actually make a constructive story - the recent films have just thrown in as much trash as they can with running times of under 90 minutes. They also need to cut out the cultural references that anyone watching this film in a year will not understand.

An American Carol sounds terrible. Their is going to be a Scary Movie 5? They said Scary Movie 4 was the last one. I will go and watch that but I highly doubt it will be better then 1 & 2 unless they get the Wayans involved again.

David Zucker, the man who directed the last two. He made spoof films what they are with the timeless classics Airplane! and the first two The Naked Gun films, but he was with his brother and Abrahams, and without them, without ZAZ, he is entirely incomplete.

I hope he does a good job with this. Was Disaster Movie linked in with Date Movie and Epic Movie. They have to be the worst Movies created. I'd love Scary Movie 5 to be as good as 1 & 2. :)

I know, which is kinda sad. Just the ideas they were built around were awesome. Scary Movie 1 was great with the Scream scenario and I found it really funny. :)

Yeh. The humor dropped to a 12 year olds humor and the Movies were just rushed with poor ideas which had the potential to be awesome.

This movie is apserloutly terrible. It tajes digs at most celebrities and TV shows making this an extreame plea for cheap thrills and I heard noone else laughing in the audience. It pleads for attention and laughs with some truely horrible toilet humour. So far I have only gone literaly, hehe, and been extreamly disappointed. The only good thing in the movie is when Hannah Montana dies. I wouldn't waste your money on this film. The movie is its title, A disaster movie.

They tend to really ruin spoofs with fart/toilet humour. Like Date Movie and Super Hero Movie. I guess they have it in this as well.

LOL It was a really poorly done movie.

I got a cheap laugh from some of the references... I liked the Facebook and Juno ones. Although they could have been a lot more insulting towards HSM. Of course, seeing the movie for free may bias my opinion a bit.. I may have felt differently if I had spent money to see it.. LOL!
