Quest help

I know this will seem "newbish" to people who are higher levels or whatever but I have had so much trouble with the frem isles quest (I even died :()

Is there any advice or tips anyone on here can give me? Cheers! Rep will be rewarded.

Head to the eastern end of the northern isle, crossing the bridges as you go, until you come to a cave entrance. Once you enter the cave go east, a cut-scene will start. You will have to slay 10 trolls, which can be Ice Troll Grunts (Level-102), Females (Level-82), Males (Level-82) or Runts (Level-74). Bork Sigmundson can assist you by giving you provisions: cooked tuna, prayer potions and strength potions.

Note: The Troll King attacks with range mainly, but he can also use melee, and ice barrage. It is recommended that you use the protect from range prayer. It should also be noted that ranged attacks have no effect on him.

Once you have defeated the ten trolls, if you need supplies, see Bork Sigmundson or go back to the bank, if you are ready and capable, head south, cross the bridge and fight the Ice Troll King (Level-122).

Wear the best armor you can, bring super pots, and have sharks or higher.

Ive been fighting the king but my attacks dont seem to have any effect, he just hammers me away?

I have no idea cuz i did this quest along time ago but try www.zybez.net for a guide not runehq i find runehq is always wrong =/

i did the quest, you should be able to kill him with melee, just bring s pots. and loads of food. Dragon B Axe is what i used.
