Most of us make a connection between someone paying for VIP and trust, so there is that eliment. I've been suckered into it mentally, I would trust a VIP more, but I don't trust non-VIPs that much, so I wouldn't trust VIPs that much more.

I had VIP for like.. 1 or 2 months, and haven't had it for ages, but I'm considered trustworthy by alot of people.

I agree with the part in bold, trust is something that is earnt, not something that can be based on how much rep someone has earnt/bought ;). You either trust someone based on your own findings or you don't! You should never judge a book on it's cover ;)

not at all i thought i could trust someone with something + they blabbed it for loads of people to see so no i haven't since then which was like last year. some people i will tell certain things but others just no.

either really, i'd go by their reputation (not green bars, how well I know them etc) and possibly their post count.. not thousands of posts but I wouldn't trust say a VIP with one post.

having said that, it's not "trust" trust, I wouldn't for arguments sake lend them a few hundred quid.

I usually check post count and rep count. VIP does help because I know they've got knowledge of the forum and stuff. I tend to trust people who know what they're doing. ;)

If someone buy's VIP on here then that means they have at least some dedication to the forum so therefore they would probally be more respectable and not do anything bad. However, Just because someone has payed a little money to look better doesn't mean they arn't bad. Habbo for example, Arn't loads of HC's scammers?
