I think he meant "it's summer" in that the ground is still rock hard in most places (where it hasn't rained) so you wont need boots for another few months... but with the weather recently that's a bit redundant.
Get boots dude, they'll last you longer and if you need them for the start of the season, why wait? The game will always be around.

Thanks everyone I decided against a game at the moment because I want to trade in all the games I don't play at once and I'll do that just as Fifa 09 comes out.

No, you started getting lairy just because you didn't like his answer. If you're allowed to ask a question why should he not be allowed to give an opinion? And wow I can't believe you used post count as an argument against me, that's just sad. Checked my profile just now and it told me an average of 7.21 posts a day, that's not quite 100...

You need some sort of anger management course I think, lashing out with useless insults whenever someone challenges you. Either that or learn how to argue.
