Why get a vB forum? MyBB is just as good? or is it just one of these stereotypes who think because they are using a open source forum it wont be a good forum?

Not a bad forum tbh!, and yes, theres nothing wrong with MYBB. i've used both VBulletin/mybb , and there both fine., i dont belive it's worth the cost for VB, when you can use mybb, +REP to you sir.
