I have a friend who is a girl and we're really good friends and she's just a great person. The only problem is that we can't see ourselves in a relationship with together.. it would be weird.. the only problem is that we hook-up occasionally and do other couple "stuff". Like we love each other to death.. but we're just not together in a conventional way.. Her and I have both discussed this numerous times and we never come to a conclusion probably because we're 2 of the most laid back people ever and we just never reach a conclusion because it's not a big deal to us. I can see us being like this forever we don't want to get married, but we both want kids.. If this doesn’t end soon I don't think it ever will..

Is this a weird relationship or is it just me?

I thought you batted for the other team lol, but anyway nah that's good, it's probably the best type of relationship. As long as you don't let the sex get in the way of you being friends then there shouldn't be a problem, and as for having kids.. well, marriage means less and less in more modern times, there's no reason a couple of friends can't have a kid

Yeah, I'm a prime example of that. Me and the missus were together for 2 years and it got to the point where she was like a very good friend, not a girlfriend, but we still have a kid. We're like Ross and Rachel from Friends.

She was my girlfriend, but in my head I saw her as a very good friend.

the thing is our relationship isn't all about sex and hooking-up.. she can sleep in my bed and we don't have to do anything..

Yeah that's good too, I got a female mate with whom I think we'd be the same if she didn't have a boyfriend haha, it's all good. You don't have to give each other the official titles if you know how you feel
