ok so basically i'm homeschooled (not social reject, just didn't like schools around my area). ok, i take these classes which are ok but not great. so i'm in this class, i'm a sophmore (10th grade). i'm a shy, quiet guy unless you are a friend. so i'm basically the youngest in the class, the rest are juniors and seniors, maybe 1 sophomore. so yeah, there is this one girl i saw that was kinda like me, shy and quiet, but also talks when talked to (well doh). but she was really cute in my opinion. she's a junior though, and some people actually care about a 1 year age difference. i don't know how i would ever ask her out or anythnig, being as she has a car, and i don't (actually have a car, not license yet, few more months heh). so, any advice? i just kinda wanna make a conversation with her somehow, because i'm not really the most confident guy. but if i start talking or someone starts talking to me, i start to get comfortable.

Its a one year age gap... If it was like 5 then yeh people would have something to **** you off about but it's one year.

Also talk to her about her car? Something you both have in common why not just randomly ask her how long it took her to get her license then start a conversation from there. Just find something you have in common then bam you got your conversation starter.

First of all, 1 year difference, means nothing at all so don't every worry about that and don't listen to people who say it's taboo.

second, if you don't have much confidence, start with something simple, if your in the same class you could ask how her studies are doing or maybe you could ask her about what she likes, with music or films or books.

Stuff like that, I am no expert on these things make no mistake, but if you don't make the effort, you'll be kicking yourself for a long time.
