I don't know, but I'm pretty sure apple named it an "iPod Touch," not an "iTouch." One of my pet peeves.

These things are seriously getting out of control, although I have been told they are apparently slashing the prices.. still, they are pretty darned expensive.. call me old fashioned but I don't really see why somebody would need 16GB of music... let alone 80GB like some of them have..

Then again, iPods are doing everything these days.. started out as a neat MP3 player, when I had my 4GB iPod Mini I was more than satisified. Now they are constantly changing them and adding new features... internet? youtube? iPhones? It's really getting out of control.

I understand that a lot of people love their iPods and some will even argue they can't function without them.. but I just don't see what the hype is anymore.. they have iPods that are what 400$+ now? If I'm paying that much then it's atleast going to have to start doing my laundry and picking up my groceries...

Hm, K. Rang Apple Store liverpool this morning, asking if they have the 16gb Nanos in yet (SJ said Weekend/Next week). They do, so I am picking up a grey nano on saturday (if they dont sell out).

Nah, its safe if your running. You hold the bottom and shake the end like your swiping something over a shop till (the way steve jobs done it anyway). Its really good. I shall try get a video to demonstrate.

Apple's "Let's Rock" media event yesterday refreshed their entire iPod line. When asked about the lack of Mac news in an interview, Jobs pointed out it was a music focused event. Many readers, however, are anxiously awaiting the new notebook revisions that have been rumored.

DaringFireball now claims that Apple will be releasing new notebooks on October 14th according to sources "familiar with Apple's hardware plans." This timeframe fits into recent expectations of a more staggered release, and recent hints to resellers that notebook refreshes would have to wait until October.

While both the MacBook and MacBook Pro are overdue for revisions, the MacBook Air has also been rumored to see imminent updates. Besides new versions of the MacBook Air's custom Intel processor, Apple now has access to upgraded miniature hard drives for use in the slim laptop.

The new 120GB iPod Classic shares the same single-platter hard drive form factor that is also used in the MacBook Air. Prior to the availability of the 120GB part, the MacBook Air had been limited to a maximum hard drive size of 80GB. The MacBook Air should now be able to accommodate the higher 120GB hard drive size.

My Classic 160GB I suppose is still in even though it's not being manufactured it's the same as the 120GB Classic though a bit thicker.
