:S

There's a foundation level in nearly every GCSE where you can only get up to a C grade?

Haven't you heard of it before?

Thats the whole point of foundation... Its easier to pass, but you cant get any higher than a C....

As the others have said, Foundation is easier to pass, however you do not get higher than a C.

I do the Higher tier in Science as I am pretty good at it, and after doing my 6 Science Modules got a C (60%) and just waiting to see my coursework mark (40%) which will boost my grade up to a B. I am also resitting 2 of the modules to see if I can alter 1x A, 1x B and 4x C to 3x B :)

It all depends what science you are doing. I am going Core Double, however you may be doing Applied?
