umm do you mean your desktop background?

Yes it goes blanlk white everytime the comp gets turn of and back on again

Are you using just a colour or a picture?

And when you choose the background, do you press ok or apply?

If you press ok it will change the background but it will go when you turn off the computer.

So if you're doing that, press apply.

Make sure all connections to the monitor are placed in correctly and tightly. Also, make sure your video drivers are not out of date.
