Hey,
I'm looking for some train tickets that are not stupidly priced. I need 2 student return tickets from Doncaster to Bristol Parkway on 20th September. The train needs to get in to Bristol at around 1PM and leaves at around 7PM.
Thanks and rep to anyone who finds some cheap tickets!

I think you'll be lucky to find tickets for anything less than a bomb..
Not really helpful like, but they really are extortionate.

Generally, they are cheapest from the station and bought in advance. I think train prices tend to be universal - same price from different places.

Go to Temple Meads. Parkway is more Bristol Rovers.
I can get you there but getting back is a different story. Most of them are too early and there's two that are decent times but one gives you very little time switching trains and the other one doesn't get back till 8:00 the next morning.
Have a look on the national rail site. I'll try Parkway now.
EDIT: Parkway has one at 18:07 but Parkway is further so it no use.

Parkway > Bristol City is about a 5 minute journey so I'm told and it goes at 25 minutes past the hour.
I'm stumped 'cos I don't want to go on the coach.

Temple Meads is much closer to Bristol City than Parkway.

Before you go, try going into the station its self and using the ticket machines, or asking at the booking office.
I think that they give you the cheapest priced ones

if you get it sent and a m-ticket to your phone it doesn't say if its adult or child ticket
works everytime :P

Probably, depending - I'll just have a check.
With ease to Parkway, only 44 mins walking and we walk fast.
